Cut- Out Sleeves

Cut-out sleeve top: student store at FIDM
Denim high- waisted shorts: Anchor Blue
Sandals: ASOS
Necklace: Forever 21
Sunglasses: Banana Republic, but bought @ TJ Maxx

I was not planning to do a blog post about this outfit because I find it quite casual, but Emily and I had a spontaneous mini photo shoot so I figured I would use the pics. We were in Anaheim and I saw this cute little pink house, so naturally I dragged Emily to it so we could take pics in front of it. I bought this adorable top when I went to FIDM awhile back (same time as I bought the grey dress in one of my previous posts). This top was handmade by one of the students and I loved it.Cut- out sleeves are soooooo cute I can't even explain how much I love them. The detail on the sleeves is so pretty too. The necklace I wore is actually a long necklace, but I doubled it and made it a layered choker instead. These shorts fit like a glove, shoutout to Becky my fave Australian for giving them to me last week haha I love them. The brand is Anchor Blue which really makes me want to go look for more shorts there, but I do not even know where those stores exist anymore. I like wearing these sandals with shorts sometimes because the color is skin neutral and is subtle instead of wearing a dark pair of shoes because that can sometimes break up the look of your outfit if the garments and shoes are both dark because you can make your legs look shorter. Visually, you can look taller if you wear nude colored shoes because then you are elongating what you see rather than blocking your feet from your legs. I did a henna on my wrist and it looks pretty cool I think with the detail on my sleeves. I apologize for the mediocre-ness of this outfit I was not blog ready haha but better posts will be coming so stay tunnnneeeeed :)
