Posting has been harder to do now that school has started again I'm sorry :( This cardigan is very loud, but that's why I love it. Anything too short would make it look awkward but the high waist makes the length of the cardigan look more proportionate.  I find navy blue a hard color to match, and typically I dislike it with black. However, it already has the black detail so I wanted to bring out those accents with the black choker and tee. Since yellow and blue are complementary colors I tried to incorporate a little bit in the earrings. If you are wearing something high-waisted, typically you want to draw the attention up or down. Jewelry is a perfect way to do that. The heeled sandals are perfect light weight shoe, they are a nice substitute from the typical ankle boot in warmer weather. (Shout out to 90 degree weather in Feb.) The light denim makes the fringe stand out more instead of wearing all black. Thanks for reading, Happy Pres. Day xxx

Malibu Wine Safari

Hat: Brixton Dress: H&M White tee: Boohoo Belt: Pacsun Sunglasses: RayBan Shoes: Steve Madden Necklace: Urban Outfitters Bracelets: one is 'Tiffany' and one I got in France  I did the Malibu Wine Safari last month for my other friend's birthday and my life was made when I got to feed my spirit animal, a llama. March was full of wine and birthdays haha. These hats made a total comeback and while a black one would've looked just as cute, I like to add color and match my sunglasses hehe. I added the white t-shirt under the dress to #1 match my shoes, and #2 make it have more of a school girl look. I like layering tees under things it makes the look more unexpected. It is important to pick silver or gold when accessorizing. Although mixing is not a crime I am OCD about it all matching. Bustier Crop Top: Tilly's Tribal print maxi skirt: Brandy Melville Leather boots: ASOS Charm bracelet: H&M Earrings: Forever 21 Fedora: Forever 21 I love this skirt for one reason and that is the slit going down the side. Maxi skirts can actually be quite awkward if they have a straight hem because then a lot of shoes look weird with it. The slit allows you to wear different style shoes because it is still a long skirt, but it is open enough to see your legs and your shoes clearly. I chose this top because I did not want to use a boring black crop top because I think it is too predictable. I love this top because the color is really pretty and it is made for high-waisted skirts or shorts as such. The zipper in the front and the criss-cross straps in the back are all little details that make it stand out more than a regular top.
