Floral Bomber Jacket

So today I was finally able to get (beg) my sister to take pictures for my blog again (she is strongly opposed to helping me but I still make her)! The weather was so nice today, so I took advantage and finally wore some shorts. I am still figuring out how to theme my outfits and posts but today I realized I haven't worn one of my favorite jackets in so long so I thought why not use it. I know everybody owns denim shorts and they are quite amazing because you can literally wear them any way you want. I try to be creative with simple things like denim for that reason. I am a strong fan of floral prints and with denim they look exceptionally presentable. With a strong jacket like this you want to keep everything moderately simple because you want that one thing to stand out. If you try to over do it with matching and colors then chances are something will look uneasy to the eye. I chose to put a plain cropped tank under the floral bomber for that reason. For jewelry, I did little earrings that matched my necklace and brought out the teal accents for a pop of color, in addition to plain gold rings that match the gold chains on my necklace. I am OCD about golds and silvers matching but that's just me. My shoes are neutral sandals that blend with the color palette and background color of the jacket. I love this jacket so much because first of all it is floral and it has all the qualities and style of a leather jacket, yet it is not.  I hope you guys like it :) P.S. I took this cork board down from my wall in my room to move something and figured it was a nice thing to cover the dirt with in-case you were thinking how random it was. Malibu Wine Safari

Bustier Crop Top: Tilly's Tribal print maxi skirt: Brandy Melville Leather boots: ASOS Charm bracelet: H&M Earrings: Forever 21 Fedora: Forever 21 I love this skirt for one reason and that is the slit going down the side. Maxi skirts can actually be quite awkward if they have a straight hem because then a lot of shoes look weird with it. The slit allows you to wear different style shoes because it is still a long skirt, but it is open enough to see your legs and your shoes clearly. I chose this top because I did not want to use a boring black crop top because I think it is too predictable. I love this top because the color is really pretty and it is made for high-waisted skirts or shorts as such. The zipper in the front and the criss-cross straps in the back are all little details that make it stand out more than a regular top.
